Do i have fluid behind the eardrum?

This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. One day all of a sudden my ear felt as if it was blocked (like with ear wax) after carefully cleaning out my ears there was no wax, still i could hardly hear. When i wake in the morning it seems much better but gradually through the day it becomes blocked again and starts a dull pain too. I went to the doctor and she said it's a little red and gave me antibiotics. It's been a week since taking them and nothing has changed. Today it seemed a little better but as i was leaning over my daughters cot giving her her bottle i could literally feel it blocking up. Within seconds it had gone from fine to awful. If i tilt my head to the side as if i was laid on my right side (it's the right ear i forgot to say) then after a couple of minutes it's gone and i can hear but again after about 5 minutes i could feel it gradually getting worse. not as quickly as when i was leaning over the cot but leaning my head to the side only gives a brief relief. My husband says he thinks i have fluid behind the ear but i wanted to know if anyone else has symptoms like these or if you think it could be something else. I am going to try and go back to the doctors tomorrow but would like some advice before going as they like to just prescribe antibiotics and give you these will make it better when clearly they haven't.
