Settling my 7 week old baby to sleep at night?

Hi, My 7 week old son Max has trouble settling at night. He is on Karicare Delact formula and we have just introduced wind drops as he gets some wind. I feed him and he will settle in my arms with me in bed but when I place him in his cot he is awake, hands flying in the air, legs kicking and just making grunting sounds not crying. Any suggestions on how I can settle him please.
