Why does my friend act different when her cousin is with her?

on my birthday one of my best friends came with her cousin she started acting all different i reserved a table i designed especially for friends i showed it to her she replied with a snooty tone and left laughing my other friend is really mad when she sees this.then she was walking with her cousin she stuck out her leg and tripped me.Someone tell me why she is different
