6 month old has prolonged blinks?

Make and appointment with Pediatric Neurologist asap!. When my son was 7or 8months old, he starting doing this head jerking/ticking. I was so scared he could be having seizures. Thankfully the EEG testing show no activity of seizures. Take videos of him doing these "movement" and "blinking", as I did when my son had these jerkings/ticks. Im not saying your son has this condition. What Im saying is to get him checked out asap to rule out any neurological problem. My son has "Partial Agenesis of the Corpus Callasom", fancy words for one side of the brain is bigger then the other. This condition does not affect him the way it does other kids. I believe he neither has a milder case, or he is a miracle baby! But get ahead of things. Don't over stress it yet, it just might be a small thing. Listen to your gut feeling, if you think something is wrong, dont wait for his Doctor!. Best of luck to you and your child!!
