I have sims 2 ? ( 10 point questions )?

The double deluxe version. I've been on this snooty sims website all day. The downloads and tutorials looks so amazing. And I want to use some of them, I actually have a laptop, I play the sims on. So, how do I get some of these things? Like I need the body shop, to make hair. How do I do this? How do I download hair make and clothes to sims 2 double deluxe? I'm not that smart, with computers and stuff. So can you do a step by step process for me. And do I need to download anything like winrar?
