Is Harvard Westlake a good school?

I go to a really crappy school right now in southern CA (Paul Revere Middle) and I'm thinking about applying to Harvard Westlake (with financial aid, of course). I was just wondering what the atmosphere is like, and if it's all snooty rich kids, because I wouldn't want to go somewhere like that. Does it have diversity? And good academics? Thanks :)
